My name is Amy, I live in Scotland, and I like to write all the time, about all of the things. I write about small things: old movies, secret style icons, mini adventures, jumble-sale treasure and kitsch in all its glorious forms. Sometimes I write about big things: feminism, literature, how to live a good life, how to be happy even when its dark and raining outside.
I was shortlisted for the John Byrne Award for Critical Thinking in 2020, and won Scottish Young Thinker of the Year (the Richard Wild Award) in 2014. My writing has appeared in the Glad Rag, Product Magazine and the Scottish Review.
